The woofer is equipped with a 3.5“ voice coil and offers an advantage of 15% more cooling surface compared with 3“ types. That enables our wedge to handle higher peaks without any problems. The sound conduction for the high frequency range is optimised by using an additional hornflare, all disadvantages have been eliminated by this way of construction. Flying points and a pole piece are integrated, so it is also possible to use the wedge as a front of house speaker if necessary.
